Your First Visit to Our Naperville Practice

You will be warmly welcomed in our Naperville or Lisle chiropractic office

Upon your first visit to our offices you will be greeted by our friendly staff.

After an introduction to our facility, the first thing that we will do is ask you detailed information on your health history, current condition and complaints, family history, dietary habits, other care you may have had (chiropractic, osteopathic, medical, etc.), your job and other questions designed to help determine the nature of your illness and the best way to treat your condition.

A physical examination will be performed in accordance with your doctor's clinical judgement, which may include x-rays, laboratory analysis and other diagnostic procedures. In addition, a careful spinal examination and analysis will be performed to detect any structural abnormalities which may be affecting or causing your condition.

All of these elements are important components of your total health profile, and vital to the doctor of chiropractic in evaluating your problem.

Dr. Richard Asks some important questions of interest to Naperville residents - Chiropractor Naperville Dr. Richard Asks...

Where do most Naperville residents get their first vertebral subluxation complex?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of vertebral subluxation complex. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Naperville newborn.
Why are frequent visits advised when starting chiropractic care?
Consistent visits at the beginning of your chiropractic care help create the momentum necessary to correct and retrain unhealthy spinal patterns. Later, Naperville practice members find that continued care on a less frequent visit schedule can help preserve their progress and avoid a relapse.
